Yin yoga is a practice of deep stretching utilizing longer held, meditative postures to release deeply held tension in our bodies.
This practice helps to increase lubrication in the joints to alleviate stiffness and improve range of motion , increase flexibility and decrease pain. Using a careful approach, we will explore various postures and sequences to understand how to accommodate our bodies in various poses to receive the most benefits from our practice. Each session will include a discussion, meditation, breath-work, a physical practice, and time for questions to assist each individual in finding what works for them. No experience necessary and we will utilize everyday items from your home for props.
