This workshop explores the ways we ground through asana, pranayama, meditation… and the ways these tools can permeate the ground of our everyday experience. Starting from the ground up, learn how your body and spirit can stay rooted with purpose in any position, any situation.
Session 1: Roots – Open and energize the meridians of the legs. Make each step a connection to a greater power.
Session 2: Trunk – Discover your core as the source of connection. Stand your ground with purpose and compassion.
Session 3: Wings – Inversions draw on the rootedness and purpose from the lower body and core. Learn confidence in the flight of the upside-down.
For Yoga Alliance registered teachers, this course may be taken as 7 hours of continuing education credit.
